Do not bundle with power line. Also do not install in parallel to power line.

Avoid wiring in a bundle nor installing in parallel. Please wire separately from power line.It may cause a malfunction due to noise.

Do not apply stress by cable's own weight to cable connecting part.

When a cable is dangled or moved, pulled carelessly, it may damage unit or cable. It may cause a malfunction due to connection failure of a cable.

Do not use at the outside of an operating temperature range.

It may cause transmission difficulty or performance decrement of transmission.

Do not use with less than allowable bending radius.

It may cause performance decrement of transmission or cable disconnection.

Do not twist a cable.

It may cause performance decrement of transmission or cable disconnection.

Do not put anything on a cable or a connector.

When you put something on a cable or a connector, or pinch with a tool, it may cause performance decrement of transmission or cable disconnection.

Precautions in cable-laying work

As for cable-laying route

Please use a duct or a cable rack for cable-laying route as much as possible.
In case of a conduit, select the conduit diameter, taking into account a connector and a boot dimension.
When installing a pull box in the middle of a conduit, select one to satisfy allowable bending radius of a cable.
Cable-laying route should be for the exclusive use as much as possible.
Cable-laying route should be free from invasion of water and oil, nor high and low temperature which is outside the appropriate ambient temperature.

Precautions in cable extension

In order to equalize tension applied on a cable, extend a cable with less than allowable tension and more than allowable bending radius.

Protection for connector part

For the underneck part of a connector, install without bending. In addition, be sure to install the root of a cable with more than allowable bending radius.After installation, confirm that a boot is inserted deeply to prevent breakage of a lock spring in a connector.This part is extremely weak against shock and tension, therefore do not pull.

Precautions for relay adaptor

The number of connection for relay adaptor between devices should be up to 2. (ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B regulation)

Do not connect more than 3. Also do not connect by a means other than relay adaptor.It may cause transmission difficulty or performance decrement of transmission.

Installation method

Please install a relay adaptor by any of the following method.

1.Contain in a plastic housing such as a terminal box, and float a relay adaptor from FG.
2.Install to control board or patch panel. When a relay adaptor is grounded, be sure to share FG with connection destination device. (See figure below.)


Installation method other than the above may cause transmission difficulty or performance decrement of transmission.
